Morrissey: Everyday is Like Sunday
For Fender Play students looking for an opportunity to practice your F-chords and C7 chord, look no further than “Everyday is Like Sunday” by Morrissey. Fender Play uses this song early on in the electric guitar, rock genre with the Everyday is Like Sunday practice exercise on Level 2, Course 05.
This extra credit suggestion is for those of you who, like me, are still working through the little F-chord on Fender Play and looking for a challenge. The songsterr.com tab has a lot to recommend it if you’ve already mastered the Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billie Eilish, The Temptations, or other Little F-chord practice exercises at Level 5, Course 06. The tab uses the F-chord and the C7 chord at a 117 bps rate. It’s got a repetitive strumming pattern using many of the Am, G, C, F chord transitions that you’ve practiced in earlier Fender Play F-chord exercises. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
