With my daughter starting to learn guitar, I’m going back and reviewing ways to show her how to hold a guitar pick. This one seems to fit the bill. It’s very similar to Fender Play lesson I used when I got started. Fender Play is not available for free, so here we are.
I’ve also watched the Justin Guitar video on how to hold a pick. His video is quite long and goes into the kind of pick he recommends for beginners. It’s useful, but looong. What can I say?
I use the first version that Lauren teaches. She also teaches a non-traditional method that she uses. Go ahead and use whatever method works for you.
